iBall’s official website has announced yet another low cost Android based handset. The new handset is named iBall Andi5-M8 and is priced at Rs 8,999. The device is listed with coming soon tag on the company website. Surprisingly, the smartphone has been announced with another handset Andi 5-E7 which has almost similar specifications as Andi5-M8. Hence, the strategy of launching two different devices looks beyond a simple explanation. The web post lists its features and specifications which are pretty generic for any dual core budget handset. Here are all the specifications and features details -

Processor, camera and a wide range of connectivity options make this device a value for money. However, 512 MB RAM and low screen resolution are a bit of disappointment. Due to its poor RAM capability, running some high end apps may become extremely cumbersome. The device comes in Black and White colors. The phone is likely to face competition from many of its counterparts from Micromax, Karbonn and Lava etc. However, this shouldn’t be a real worry for the company as the huge demand in the segment at present can swallow almost anything on the shelves. Let us see how the market swallows this smartphone.
