The DTH operators had to discontinue their existing long term plans when the new Trai tariff regime came into effect. However, soon after the subscribers migrated to the new tariff regime, there was a slew of new long term plans which were made for the new tariff regime. These long term subscriptions options extend the benefit of extra service days to the subscribers. This means that customers who opt for a long term subscription plan will enjoy free extra service period by these companies. Now, D2h has been known as the DTH operator which is providing the most attractive long term plan out of all. Whereas, Tata Sky is providing a cashback offer to its subscribers which translates into a long term offer in some manner. Dish TV is also another provider which has joined the league of operators providing long term subscription options. But, in a new turn of events both Dish TV and D2h have increased the benefits which the subscribers can avail with these plans.

Dish TV Increased Long Term Plan Benefits
Firstly, Dish TV was the one to roll out attractive long term offer for the festive season. The DTH operator put the information out on its website that subscribers getting 10-month connection would enjoy 2 extra months of service. While the subscribers getting a 6 months connection would enjoy an extra month of service. This means that subscribers would only have to pay for 10 months to enjoy 12 months service, whereas they would have to pay for 6 months in advance to get 7 months of service.
