Apple has launched a new Mac Mini model with an M4 chipset for India, and the global markets. The all-new Mac Mini will come with the M4 and the M4 Pro chipset. The M4 chip will come with a 10-core CPU, a 10-core GPU, and up to 24GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD storage. Compared to the M1 chip, the M4 chip comes with up to 1.8x faster CPU and 2.2x faster GPU. The size of the new Mac Mini is 5×5 inches. Apple said that the new Mac Mini has been built with AI in mind. The M4 chip enables the Mac Mini to deliver on-device AI (artificial intelligence) speech-to-text up to 2 times faster in MacWhisper.

There’s also the M4 Pro chip, which is even more powerful. It has a 14-core CPU, and a 20-core GPU coupled with up to 64GB of RAM and 8TB of SSD storage. Compared with the M2 Pro chip on Mac Mini, the M4 Pro chip renders motion graphics to RAM up to 2 times faster in Motion.

Apple Intelligence features will be supported by all the new Mac Mini models. Further, there are two USB Type-C ports with USB 3 speeds and a 3.5mm audio jack on the front. At the back, you will see three Thunderbolt 4 ports while the M4 Pro variant will come with Thunderbolt 5 ports. There is a Gigabit Ethernet and an HDMI port present in both models.
