Aircel launches new cheap combo pack offering voice and data pack

Aircel, 5th largest Indian GSM operator hits record growth in Jharkhand in data usage. It also gained 35 percent subscription growth in the same region in the last 6 months.


Data growth hit 82 percent with smartphone penetration in Jamshedpur being around 50 per cent because of high literacy rate. This along with the fact that people are data savvy here was the reason behind the company recording such a high growth, a company official stated. Aircel has significantly enhanced capacity in all its sites across Jamshedpur and added 54 sites that would redefine the 3G data usage experience with a maximum speed of upto 7.2 Mbps.

Aircel also launched a cheap Data voice combo pack for Jharkhand users at Rs 255.
