PM Modi not only inaugurated IMC 2024, but also the ITU-WTSA which is happening for the first time in India. He said that there are four digital pillars that India follows: Low-priced devices, extensive reach of digital connectivity to every nook and corner of the country, easily accessible data, and the goal of ‘Digital First’.

Akash Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Jio urged the prime minister that AI should be embraced by India and that the data of Indians should be withing the boundaries of the country. For this, he requested that the government give incentives so that more data centers could be built in India.
