Reliance Jio's JioTV+ app will now be available for Smart TVs even without the Jio STB (Set-Top Box). Until now, if you purchased a JioFiber connection bundled with OTT (over-the-top) benefits, you got a free Jio STB. With this STB, you got access to the JioTV+ app. Now, Jio has made the app available for more TVs operating without the JioTV STB.
With the JioTV+ app, you can get access to 800+ digital TV channels in more than 10 languages and 20+ genres. Now, JioFiber users can use the app in their secondary Smart TV as well. With the JioTV+ app, there are OTT platforms available such as Disney+ Hotstar, JioCinema Premium, Discovery+, and more.

For JioFiber prepaid customers, plans starting with Rs 999 and above come with a Jio STB while for JioFiber postpaid customers, Jio STB is bundled with Rs 599, Rs 899 and above plans. With JioAirFiber, all plans bundle the Jio STB.

Use your Android Smart TV remote/ Firestick Remote / Apple TV Remote. Just search for the JioTV+ app on the App Store or Play Store. Then just install the JioTV+ app on your TV. This move is to ensure that customers can watch their favourite content powered by the internet from Jio in more than just one TV.

Note that if you can get a JioFiber connection, don't go for the Jio AirFiber. AirFiber as a technology is meant to supplement the fiber business of Jio. In areas where it is hard to deploy fiber, 5G FWA (fixed-wireless access) or AirFiber makes sense. But in other areas where fiber is present, then don't go for AirFiber, only go for a fiber connection.
