Nokia Launches Dual SIM Phones Nokia C2-00 and Nokia X1-01

Nokia launched its innovative, stylish and affordable Nokia C2-00 dual SIM internet phone and Nokia X1-01 dual SIM music phone for the Indian market at the largest gathering of twins at ‘Nokia’s Twins Day Out’.

Manufactured at Nokia’s Chennai factory, both models offer the most convenient and intuitive experience available for switching between SIM cards – without compromising on features and fun. Keeping in mind the requirements of the Indian consumers.




Nokia C2-00 and Nokia X1-01 come with Nokia’s innovative services including Nokia Life Tools which provide consumers with a wide range of information covering healthcare, agriculture, education and entertainment. Nokia X1-01 also comes pre-loaded with Nokia Money to help deliver financial independence to entry consumers.

Nokia C2-00 and Nokia X1-01 are available at less than Rs.2990 and Rs.1990 respectively.

The Nokia X1-01 comes with ‘Dual-Standby’ which means that you can always receive notification of calls and messages on each account – rather than having to switch your SIM cards on and off. While Nokia C2-00 offer Nokia’s unique Easy Swap function for smarter multiple SIM management, largest in category expandable memory capabilities (32GB for Nokia C2-00) and enhanced music capabilities (in-built loudspeakers at a whopping 106phon for the Nokia X1-01).

Additionally, the Nokia C2-00 and Nokia X1-01 are available at attractive and affordable price points and will address the consumer need for a Nokia multimedia phone with Dual SIM functionality.

Nokia C2-00 :

The Nokia C2-00 is the first Dual SIM phone to have Easy Swap, which offers consumers the convenience of changing SIM cards without the need to turn off the phone or remove the battery. Just open the SIM door at the side of the phone and swap your SIMs.

With the Nokia C2-00 users can also browse the internet, read emails and enjoy instant messaging with either SIM card.

Not only is the internet browsing experience far superior than that available on competing Dual SIM products, but so is the expandable memory support. At a whopping 32 GB, the Nokia C2-00 lets you keep thousands of photos, videos and music files with you all the time and offers the largest expandable memory capability in its price range in the Indian market. The intuitive Nokia C2-00 also remembers the settings for up to five separate SIM cards.

Nokia X1-01 :

Addressing the entertainment and multiple SIM requirements of consumers, Nokia has introduced its first Dual SIM music phone, Nokia X1-01, which comes with loud sound and great music clarity, offering one of the best music experiences to the consumer. This is supported with a jumbo battery that delivers upto 36 hours of continued music playback, making it ideal for long-lasting and loud shared music experiences.

With Nokia X1-01, one can store and shuffle thousands of songs with up to 16 GB of memory support, and can play them back over a loudspeaker that is the loudest and clearest ever produced by Nokia.The music experience is further enhanced with a new and playful music player. This player allows consumers to select songs that they like while listening to them and create favourite playlists.

The consumer to completely personalize their Dual SIM experience with their own SIM name, call or SMS settings, logo, ringtone or music. It remembers the settings for up to five separate SIM cards. Its also has an innovative ‘cost tracker’ application to help consumers control their calling expenses.
