In order to protect interests of the consumers of telecom sector, Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) today published its Comparative performance of Mobile Service Providers in Mumbai and Maharashtra- Goa Telecom Circles for the quarter ending Sept’10.

With the TRAI’s Report Card on GSM and CDMA Mobile service operators in Mumbai and Maharashtra-Goa telecom circles following factors were looked into it Quality of Service (QoS) Parameters of Accessibility,Call Drops,Voice Quality, Billing Complaints.

According to the QoS report published by TRAI, Vodafone and MTNL Mumbai performing the best in the Availability of network and very less downtime of BTS/Mobile Tower compared to other operators in Mumbai. While in the Accessibility of % of call made by the subscriber and successful in the network LOOP Mobile has been recognized as the only service provider with 99.99% for this segment.

In the Percentage of calls with Good voice Quality Videocon, Uninor, MTS India, Tata Indicom rated the best operators with more than 99% of calls with good Voice quality.
