Google is holding one of the most important events of the year, which is the Made by Google 2019 event. This event is particularly important because we will see the announcement of the Pixel 4 and the Pixel 4 XL only a few minutes from now. But, the event is not only crucial because of the phones, but there are other devices from Google this time which are worth making highlights. There are a lot of products such as the new PixelBook from Google, which is called the PixelBook Go, the Nest Mini Speaker, the new Stadia for gaming and much more. Here is some sneak peek into the new PixelBook Go that Google has announced.

PixelBook Go: A Compact Version of the PixelBook With Bigger Battery

There are a couple of updates which the PixelBook Go gets as compared to the original PixelBook. It is worth noting that the PixelBook Go is a more compact version of the PixelBook with a bunch of new upgrades which adds to the compactness and the sleekness of the device. The PixelBook Go was announced by Ivy Ross, Head of Design at Google and the executive explained that the PixelBook Go is lighter than the original PixelBook, but it also comes with a 15% larger battery. Keeping the kind of users, the PixelBook Go will empower, Google has designed the keyboard of the PixelBook Go to be comfortable and quiet, and the keys are specially designed Ultra-Quiet Hush Keys. As for the software, the PixelBook will come with Chrome OS as you’d expect.

Sleek Design With Google’s Signature Colours

Also, talking about the design of the PixelBook Go, Google announced that the laptop would come with a rippled wavy bottom which would offer more grip wherever the device is kept. As for the colour options, the PixelBook Go would debut in two popular colours by Google which includes the Just Black and Not Pink colour variants. On the hardware front, Google’s PixelBook Go will pack Intel Core m3, i5 or i7 paired with 8GB or16GB of RAM along with 64GB, 128GB or 256GB SSD. The pricing of the PixelBook Go has been announced to be $649.

Google Nest Mini, PixelBuds and Other Products

Along with the announcement of the PixelBook Go, Google has announced a bunch of other products at the launch event, and these include the Nest Mini, which is a speaker with identical looks to the Google Home Mini. The Nest Mini has been announced to come with 2x better bass, and an additional mic for better hearing and a wall mount as well. The Nest Mini has been announced to carry a price tag of $49. There is also the Nest Aware technology which is available as a subscription service for $6 per month for Nest Aware covering all devices at home and 30-day event history. There is also a Nest Aware Plus for $12 which also covers all devices at home, offers 60-day event history and 10-day 24/7 video history.

Another major announcement in the Google event was of the PixelBuds, which are Google’s new earbuds and they would be available next year for $179. The PixelBuds come with beam-forming mics, a "spatial vent" that lets in outside air and a little noise and long-range Bluetooth connection that measures even beyond 100 yards. Other products announced by Google in today’s event include the Nest Wi-Fi router, Nest Wi-Fi point and of course, the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL.
