To strengthen its stronghold in the Indian market, Vivo has already teased and informed the public about a new series of smartphone, the Vivo Z series. Now today, Vivo has finally launched the first smartphone in this series, the Vivo Z1 Pro. It is worth noting that the phone’s specifications were released by Vivo much before the launch date, so there is nothing new to note when it comes to what the device packs. However, Vivo had not revealed the price of this device which it has revealed now. Along with this, now we also know about the availability of the device. Here are all the details you need to know about the Vivo Z1 Pro.




Vivo Z1 Pro Design and Display

In terms of design, Vivo has stuck to the popular design available in the market right now – the punch hole style display, and inside the punch hole, the Vivo Z1 Pro houses the front camera. The display of the Vivo Z1 Pro is also wide and tall, and users get the 6.5-inch worth of screen real estate. Overall, the phone sports thin bezels except on the lower side where there is a slightly thicker chin. On the rear side too, the Vivo Z1 Pro sticks to the trend as the back side is clad in a shiny gradient curved panel. The rear side of the phone also houses the vertically stacked triple rear camera setup combined with the square-ish fingerprint sensor in the middle. The edges of the device consist of the power button, volume rockers and a smart button as well.

Vivo Z1 Pro Specifications and Battery

Coming to the specifications of the device, this phone sports a 6.5-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with the resolution on the screen being 1080 x 2340 pixels. As for the processor, the Vivo Z1 Pro comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 712, thus earning it the reputation for being a performance oriented device and also one of the first phones to pack this SoC. This chipset comes paired with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. However, there are also other variants to the phone like the 4GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB.

In case, users feel the storage is slightly lacking there is also the micro SD card slot which will allow for expansion up to 256GB. There is little to no doubt about the gaming performance of this phone as the Vivo Z1 Pro has already become the official device for PUBG Mobile Club Open 2019. The device also features a 5000mAh battery and supports fast charging while packing 18W charger in the box. As for the software, the Vivo Z1 Pro boots the Android 9 Pie with Vivo’s FunTouchOS 9.

Vivo Z1 Pro Camera

Like other mid-range smartphones, the Vivo Z1 Pro has three cameras on the rear side. The primary sensor is a 16MP unit which is paired with an f/1.8 aperture; There's an 8MP sensor with a wide-angle lens and f/2.2 aperture. And lastly, Vivo has added a 2MP depth shooter that helps in adding bokeh effect to the images. Frontal, the Chinese company used a 32MP shooter which boasts an aperture of f/2.0.

Vivo Z1 Pro Pricing and Availability

The Vivo Z1 Pro comes in three variants and the first 4GB+64GB variant of the phone will be available with a price tag of Rs 14,990, the second variant with 6GB+64GB option will be available at Rs 16,990, and lastly, the 6GB+128GB variant will be available for Rs 17,990. All the Vivo Z1 Pro variants will be available on Vivo official website and Flipkart on July 11, 2019.
