Ever since Tata Sky and Airtel Digital TV slashed the prices of their set-top boxes, the other DTH providers have been looking at ways to make their offerings attractive. Last week, we saw Tata Sky introduce another price cut on its STBs, making its STBs cheaper than Dish TV and even D2h. This has compelled the largest DTH provider in India, D2h to introduce an offer of its own. As part of this new offer, the service provider is offering its HD RF Set-Top Box combined with lots of freebies and one month of free channel pack. Here are all the details about this new offer from D2h.

D2h One Month Free Platinum HD Combo Offer

It is worth noting that the HD RF Set-top box is available on the D2h website for Rs 1,799 and under this offer the set-top box will retail for the same price except it will be combined with a lot of freebies. The first add-on with the set-top box under this offer will be the RF remote. Apart from this, the new subscribers who get the HD RF set-top box for Rs 1,799 will get to enjoy the platinum HD combo channel pack for free. The HD RF set-top box from D2h is the highest offering in D2h’s portfolio, and it offers features like unlimited title or time-based recording, fast forwarding or rewinding recording, pausing Live TV, and Mosaic functionality which allows you to display 12 channels at once from a particular genre on your TV screen. The subscribers opting for the STB, also get a free installation in their homes.

Platinum HD Combo Channel Pack Details

Secondly, the offer bundles the Platinum HD Combo channel pack from D2h which is available for subscription for a monthly rental of Rs 616. The total number of channels available in this pack includes 117 channels. The platinum HD combo bundles SD and HD channels both from almost all genres like Business News, General entertainment channels, news, infotainment, kids, movies, music and sports. The channels available in the platinum HD combo include both English and Hindi channels.

Affordable Multi-TV Options from D2h

Out of all the DTH operators present in India, D2h has earned its reputation of being one of the more affordable ones. This is especially true for the multi-TV connection pricing of D2h. The service provider has announced that subscribers opting for a secondary connection of D2h will only have to pay flat NCF of Rs 50 only, apart from this they will have to pay the content charges for the select channels which they choose for their secondary connection. In comparison to other DTH providers, this is extremely affordable. To put things into perspective, Airtel Digital TV charges Rs 80 as NCF, whereas Tata Sky has no multi-TV policy in place, hence charges all connections individually.
