Asus, the Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer, made some big releases in India last year. The company launched the much-hyped Asus Zenfone Max Pro series which was undoubtedly a hit in the country. Its flagship phone, the Asus Zenfone 5Z also competed with some of the most impressive phones since it comes with a Snapdragon 845 SoC. Now, the brand has announced that it will be slashing the prices of a bunch of its smartphones permanently. The phones which will receive the price cut will include the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1, Zenfone Max Pro M2, Zenfone Max M2, and Zenfone 5Z and the slashed prices will be effective March 2nd onwards. Here are the details of the price cuts on Asus phones. These price cuts from Asus right after the launch of Xiaomi’s new Redmi Note 7 series. The Zenfone Max Pro M2 now takes on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 which also offers Snapdragon 660 SoC like the former.

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 Price Slashed
It is worth noting that the price cuts for the Asus phone range anywhere from Rs 1,000 to Rs 5,000 for specific models and interested buyers can buy these phones on Flipkart or the Asus website. The first phone to get the price slash is the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1. The 3GB/32GB variant of the phone whose previous price was Rs 9,999 will now retail for Rs 8,499. Similarly, the 4GB/64GB option which previously had the price tag of Rs 11,999 and the 6GB/64GB variant which used to be available for Rs 13,999 will retail from Rs 10,499 and Rs 12,499 respectively.
