Netflix brings some good news for Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL users. Both the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL users will now be able to stream HDR content on Netflix, which wasn’t the case until now. Until now, the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL had to stream the video content on Netflix on the HD version. It is worth noting that Ultra HD 4K and HDR video streaming is available only in Premium subscription of Netflix. Both the Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL feature HDR displays hence is also capable of streaming HDR videos on the phone. Even after that Netflix didn’t enable Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL users to stream HDR content on the phone. But that will not be the case anymore. Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL aren’t the first phones to get HDR support on Netflix. Some of the phones that got the HDR support previously include — Huawei Mate 20 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S9, Samsung Galaxy Note 9, LG V40, and LG G7.

Netflix Brings HDR Support to Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL
The HDR streaming support coming to Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL was first reported by Android Police website. With the HDR support coming to Netflix for the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, the user of the phones will be able to fully take advantage of the top end display that the two Google phones come with. According to the report, Netflix for the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL is now showing HDR badge for the video contents that are shot in HDR.
