Realme has been in the news for quite some time now. And that's for both good and bad reasons. Realme CEO Madhav Sheth last week announced that due to the falling of rupee rates the prices of Realme C1 and Realme 2 have been hiked. After the price hike, the Realme C1 now costs Rs 1,000 more, while the price of Realme 2 hiked to Rs 9,499 from Rs 8,990. Surprisingly enough, the Realme 2 Pro's price will remain unchanged. Sheth announced the price hike of the Realme phone via a Twitter post last week. He has yet again taken to Twitter to reveal more details regarding the company's plan for the Realme 2 Pro, Realme 1, Realme 2 and Realme C1. The company has announced that the Realme 2 Pro and Realme 1 will start receiving ColorOS 5.2 update by the end of November. In addition, Realme has also revealed that Realme 2 and Realme C1 will get the software update.
ColorOS 5.2 Update Coming to Realme 1 and Realme 2 Pro
In the Twitter post, Sheth noted that Realme 1 would receive the ColorOS 5.2 Beta update on November 16 and the stable build will roll out on November 25. The software update will bring a range of new features including fixes for developer options' flashing, single-swipe notification dismiss, and a headset icon.
"Realme 1 updates. November 10: OTA to enable future ColorOS 5.2 update. November 16: ColorOS 5.2 Beta (including fixes for developer options' flashing, single-swipe notification dismiss, and a headset icon). November 25 or later: ColorOS 5.2 public release," the Twitter post noted.
Realme 2, Realme C1 to Get the Update Soon
Meanwhile, the Realme 2 Pro will be updated to ColorOS 5.2 on November 20 or later and will get the same features as the Realme 1, the company noted. "Please note that we'll do our best to meet these deadlines, but a minimal delay might happen; and you may not receive the update on the very same day as rollouts take time," Realme notes in its November 2018 update.
In addition, the Realme 2 and Realme C1 is also said to get the ColorOS 5.2 update very soon. Both these phones -- the Realme 2 and Realme C1 - are expected to get the latest November 2018 Android security patch starting November 15.
Realme 2 Pro Battery Improved With Software Update
Some Realme 2 Pro users had recently complained about the battery draining issue on their phones. Realme acknowledged the issue and is now rolling out a fix to it via a software update. The software update brings a fix to the battery draining issue and improvements to the selfie camera performance. In addition, the software update also comes together with general bug fixes.
