OnePlus 6T Will Run Android 9 Pie Out of the Box, Confirms Benchmark Listing

OnePlus 6T has paid a visit to popular benchmark portal Geekbench, way ahead of its much-awaited launch on October 30. While we all know that the OnePlus 6T will have Snapdragon 845 SoC under the hood, it’s unknown whether the company will release it with Android 9 Pie or Android 8.1 Oreo, both based on its custom skin OxygenOS. This benchmark listing confirms that the OnePlus 6T will run Android 9 Pie out of the box, which is an excellent news for all the waiting users out there. Notably, OnePlus already pushed the Android 9 Pie update to the OnePlus 6 smartphone and it will be a huge disappointment for OnePlus fans if the 6T comes with Android 8.1 Oreo on board.
