OnePlus 6T All Set to Go Official on October 30

After a series of teasers and videos, OnePlus has finally announced the launch date for OnePlus 6T as October 30. Earlier, it was rumoured the phone would make its debut in India on October 17, but everything turned out to be false. Also, the Chinese smartphone maker is said to hold the Global Launch event in India, which again turned out to be fake news as the brand scheduled a global event in New York City on the same day. Both the India launch event and the global launch event will kickstart at the same time on October 30 at 8:30 PM. In India, the event will take place at KDJW Stadium, inside Indira Gandhi Sports Complex, New Delhi.

OnePlus Fans Can Attend the Launch Event

As always, OnePlus is selling tickets for the launch event in India, allowing its fans to watch the unveiling and play with the handset after the launch. OnePlus confirmed that the launch invites would be available at Rs 999 via oneplus.in from 10:00 AM IST on October 17, 2018. “Attendees will be the first in the world to experience the style and power of the OnePlus 6T at the experience zone at the launch venue. In addition, all fans who attend the launch event will get a gift hamper full of super add-ons and OnePlus merchandise,” said OnePlus in a press release.

Furthermore, OnePlus will be live streamed across the globe, giving an additional option to users.

OnePlus 6T: What We Know So Far?

The OnePlus 6T is said to pack various new features when compared to the OnePlus 6. First of all, the phone will have the new waterdrop style notch on top of the display, and second, it will sport an in-display fingerprint scanner, which is touted to be the fastest one ever saw on a smartphone. The phone will have the same Snapdragon 845 SoC underneath, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
