Google will be launching the Pixel 3 devices on October 9. Ahead of the launch event, Google has released a series of teasers on its official Japanese website, hinting at the device's arrival in three new colour options. Going by the teasers, the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL devices will likely arrive in a new Aqua or Mint Green colour option, along with the regular Just Black and Clearly White colours. As you can see in the images, Google has clearly highlighted the Black and White colours, but the third teaser is a mysterious one. The third teaser shows an aquamarine-coloured frame, which hints at the arrival of a Green coloured Pixel 3 smartphone.

Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL: Colour Options

Google has launched two generations of Pixel devices so far and in various colour options- Clearly White, Just Black, Kinda Blue, Quite Black, Really Blue and Very Silver. This year, the search giant is expected to come with a new colour option to make Pixel 3 devices stand out from the crowd. And the new colour variant is supposed to be termed as Mint Green or Aqua Green. Furthermore, Google is even rumoured to rename the Black and White variants of the Pixel 3 smartphones.

Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL: Specifications and Features

As Google already send out media invites, the Pixel 3 devices are coming out on October 9. Unusually, Google has released teaser images of the devices nearly a month ahead of the launch, which the company hasn't done with any of its smartphones in the past. The Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL are likely to feature a similar design to the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL, but this time around, Google is rumoured to use glass on the rear side. This essentially makes way for the wireless charging and IP68 water and dust resistant certification on the Pixel 3 devices.

Talking about the rumoured specifications, the Pixel 3 will have a notch-less 5.3-inch Full HD+ display on the front, while the Pixel 3 XL will sport a notched 6.2-inch display. Both the phones will have stereo speakers, like the 2017 Pixel 2 devices. Under the hood, both the devices will have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, clubbed with 4GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The devices will still lack a microSD card slot and the fingerprint scanner will present on the rear side.

The one feature which everyone is looking forward to in the Pixel 3 devices is the camera. The Pixel 2 devices still have one of the best cameras in the industry right now. The Pixel 3 devices will boast of a single camera on the rear side, but Google is expected to add dual cameras on the front side of the Pixel 3 XL. As always, the Pixel 3 devices will be differentiated by the screen size & resolution and the battery size.
