Huawei sub-brand Honor’s latest phones – the Honor 8X and Honor 8X MAX have been tipped online thanks to its listing on JD.com. As the name suggests, the MAX model of the phone has been touted to be much more premium with a larger screen and much better specifications. As per the previous reports, for now, Honor is only going to launch the phone in China on September 5. The JD.com listing reveals the phone in its entirety including the specifications, dimensions and designs.

The first thing to notice about the Honor 8X is the waterdrop style notch with a minimal chin on the phone with the Honor branding. On the rear side, the phone sports a vertically stacked dual rear camera set up along with a fingerprint sensor. The colour option which has been listed on the website is the Magic Night Black colour option. However, the description of the Honor 8X Max also highlights that the phone will also retail in Blue and Red colour options. With the listing, the Honor 8X MAX has been given a dummy price tag of CNY 9,998 (roughly Rs 1,03,000).
Twitter user @banggogo was the first one to spot the listing online. The phone has also been revealed to sport a massive 7.12-inch display which will feature the waterdrop style notch marking the screen to body ratio at 90%. Speaking of audio, the phone will come with Dolby Atmos sound technology. Also, the renders show that the rear side of the phone will feature a 3D design which will reflect differently from all sides. The Honor 8X Max will also support 18W quick charging that will enable 40 minutes of calls with a fast 10-minute charge.
