HMD Global, the Finnish company which currently owns the Nokia brand license, has made the 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage variant of the Nokia 6 (2018) or Nokia 6.1 available in the Indian market. The smartphone is already available in the country for Rs 16,999, but it offers 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The new device went on sale as part of Amazon Summer Sale, which kickstarted on May 13. The new storage variant of the Nokia 6.1 is priced at Rs 18,999, a Rs 2,000 higher than the base variant. Also, it’s the cheapest smartphone currently with the Snapdragon 630 SoC and 4GB of RAM in India as the Moto X4 is retailing for over Rs 20,000.

Nokia 6.1 Specifications and Features
The Nokia 6.1 smartphone was launched at the MWC 2018 as a successor to last year’s Nokia 6, which featured mediocre hardware. However, this year’s Nokia 6 offers decent specifications for the asking price. The phone flaunts a 5.5-inch Full HD display carrying a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. Users would’ve loved to see Nokia going with an 18:9 panel on the Nokia 6.1, but sadly, it’s a 16:9 display. However, the company has managed to trim the bezels to make the device feel compact in hands.
With this new variant’s launch, the Nokia 6.1 can now be purchased in two RAM & storage options- one variant features 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage, while the other one offers 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Both the variants are powered by the power-efficient Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC, and they even offer a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 128GB. Sadly, it’s a hybrid card slot, not a dedicated microSD card slot.
