Xiaomi is making very aggressive developments to its smartphones line-up this year. After a very successful launch of its flagship phone the Mi Mix 2S, the next in the queue to come into the markets is the Mi 6X which is to be announced on Wednesday, April 25. Previously, the specifications of this new phone have already been revealed, however, the processor of the Mi 6X was shrouded in mystery until now. A leaked image of the box of Mi 6X surfaced on the internet revealing the processor which is present on the chipset of Mi 6X. Experts were speculating that the Mi 6X will either come with the Snapdragon 626, or the Helio P60. There was also a third report claiming that the Mi 6X will ship with Snapdragon 660, which was indeed right. The new leaked image has confirmed the doubts of fans, that the 6X will come with Snapdragon 600 AIE.
Along with informing about the processor, the rear of the white box has listed different features like the front camera sporting a 20MP sensor, the dual rear cameras which also has one 20MP sensor. The prime highlight of the Snapdragon 600 is the ability of the chipset to support AI operations which will power many camera functions and other AI-related applications on the Mi 6X.
To give you a sneak peek into the specifications of the phone - The Mi 6X comes with 5.99-inch Full HD+ display with a 2910mAh battery along with up to 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage. The phone is also set to come with Android Oreo 8.1.
Alongside the Mi 6X, Xiaomi is also expected to announce a budget smartphone in the form of the Redmi S2. Also, it seems like Xiaomi will be following the same design language of the Redmi Note 5 Pro for all of its 2018 devices.
