AI is such a buzzword these days.

Most of the advertised “AI” capabilities have been done years ago by the likes of Sony and HTC albeit in a simpler form.

They never advertised their phones as “AI”.

Automatic scene and facial recognition is not AI, it is just preprogramming.

OTOH Neural network/machine learning based performance optimization is, but I am yet to see a phone that actually uses such tech.

Given how lazy in software most OEMs are, I only expect some premier manufacturers like Samsung, LG, HTC or Sony to ever use the full power of the SOC.
