After launching the Reach Allure Secure smartphone, homegrown smartphone brand Reach has launched a new handset dubbed as Reach Allure Rise with entry-level specifications on board. Reach Mobiles also stated that the device is part of Reliance Jio's latest JioFootball cashback offer, under which users will receive Rs 2,200 cashback from the telecom operator. The device will be available for purchase at Rs 5,499 on Flipkart and Shopclues. The device comes in two colour options- Black and Gold and will be up against the Xiaomi Redmi 5A and Tenor D smartphones in the country.
This is the second smartphone launch from the company since October 2017, and both the devices are priced affordably. The newly announced Reach Allure Rise flaunts a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Internally, the device has an unspecified quad-core processor with all the four cores clocked at 1.3GHz. There's 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage inside the smartphone.
The device also offers a microSD card slot for storage expansion, but it supports up to 64GB of microSD cards. The Allure Rise smartphone boots Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box and is backed by a mediocre 2600mAh battery. An 8MP camera is present at the back of the phone, followed by a 5MP front-facing camera.
This dual-SIM smartphone comes with 4G LTE, VoLTE, ViLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, micro USB port for charging & data transfer and GPS. It also offers a 3.5mm headphone jack.
As stated, the Reach Allure Rise smartphone goes against the likes of the Xiaomi Redmi 5A and Tenor D, but the specifications of the device are mediocre when compared to the other two. Both the Redmi 5A and Tenor D are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC, but we're pretty sure that Reach will not use a Qualcomm processor on its smartphones. Also, the battery life of the smartphone is on the lower side at 2600mAh while the other two devices sport bigger battery of 3000mAh and 3500mAh.
