ZTE's sister company, Nubia has officially announced the Nubia N3 smartphone in China moments ago. The Nubia N3 succeeds the Nubia N2 (review) smartphone, and it comes with the same 5000mAh battery as its predecessor. Also, the Nubia N3 is the company's first mid-range device to feature an 18:9 screen. The phone is powered by the proven Snapdragon 625 chipset, and it comes with fast charging support too. At the moment, there's no update on when the phone is coming to the Indian market, but it will surely land in the country as the earlier two Nubia N models were launched in India.

Talking about the specifications of the Nubia N3, it has a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display on the front with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels, that further extends to a pixel density of 403 PPI. The display has the trendy 18:9 aspect ratio and Nubia has managed to keep the bezels as thin as possible. Also, it seems like the phone is slim even though it has a 5000mAh battery inside, but the measurements of the device are unknown at the moment.

Internally, the Nubia N3 offers the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC, which is possibly the best chipset released by Qualcomm in the last couple of years. The chipset is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There's a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 128GB.

Recently, it was said that all the future Nubia devices would come with stock Android, but the Nubia N3 still boots the company's Nubia UI, built on top of Android 7.1 Nougat. Maybe the Nubia N3 is an exception from that list. The fingerprint scanner is present at the rear side of the phone, like earlier Nubia models.

Optics wise, the Nubia N3 offers dual camera setup at the back, like other Nubia phones launched in the past. However, we have no information about the camera configuration of the device though. To the front, there's a 16MP selfie shooter with autofocus support.

As stated, the phone is fuelled by a mammoth 5000mAh battery, and it even comes with support for fast charging via NeoPower 3.0 technology. The device will be available in Obsidian Black, Space Gold, Nebula Red colour options and the first sale of the phone will happen on March 24 in China. However, Nubia is yet to reveal the price of the smartphone. Also, it seems like the phone will be available in a single 4GB of RAM variant.
