Reliance Jio already announced four new data add-on tariff plans alongside the Rs 49 tariff plan for JioPhone a couple of days ago. But the company did not reveal the data offering though. The data add-on packs we're speaking about are Rs 11, Rs 21, Rs 51, and Rs 101. As per our sources, these four data boosters will be live later today, meaning customers can recharge them from Jio's official portal and application. And the best part is we've managed to get the info about the data offering too.

The new data add-ons only offer data benefit, unlike earlier add-ons which offered both voice and data benefits. The Rs 11 add-on will now offer 400MB data; Rs 21 data add-on gives 1GB of 4G data; the Rs 51 data offers 3GB of 4G data, and the Rs 101 data add-on will offer 6GB of 4G data. And there's no validity period for these data-ons as they will be valid until your primary recharge.

For example, if you're on the Jio's Rs 149 recharge plan and recharges with the Rs 101 data add-on, you can enjoy 6GB of data on top of the daily 1.5GB data benefit offered by the Rs 149 tariff plan.

Aforesaid, these plans will go official anytime in the next few hours as per the information we have at the moment. But currently, we're not sure whether the same data add-ons will be applicable to JioPhone users or not, but we will update this post once Jio updates its website. If these data booster packs don't apply to JioPhone users, the company may come out with a new set of booster plans, but we're not sure about this development though.

Earlier, Jio used to offer five data booster packs of Rs 11, Rs 51, Rs 91, Rs 201, and Rs 301, but the company is now looking to limit them to just four and keep them affordable too. Bharti Airtel also introduced a prepaid data add-on pack of Rs 193 in select circles, which offers the users 1GB data per day on top of the existing unlimited combo plan. This could be the reason behind Jio's new data add-on plans.

Do make a note that these data add-on plans should be recharged on top of the standard prepaid recharge.
