Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, the best-selling smartphone of 2017 can now be purchased on Amazon India as well. Since its launch exactly a year ago, the Redmi Note 4 was exclusive to e-commerce portal Flipkart, but starting today, the phone will be available on Amazon. Currently, Amazon India listed only one variant of the Redmi Note 4 with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage for Rs 10,999. Xiaomi India Director, Manu Kumar Jain tweeted this news saying that the phone will be available on Flipkart, Amazon, and Mi.com from today.

The Redmi Note 4 is available in only two colour options on Amazon- Dark Grey and Matte Black. Interestingly, Flipkart also has the same colour options to purchase. And the best part to purchase on Amazon is the flat 10% discount offer on HDFC Debit/Credit cards. The Redmi Note 4 on Amazon India comes with the instant discount offer and not cashback offer. So, the overall price of the device comes down below Rs 10,000, which makes it a steal deal.

It's been exactly a year since the Redmi Note 4's launch in India. Back then, the device was launched at Rs 9,999 for the 2GB RAM and 32GB storage model, Rs 10,999 for the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage mode, and Rs 12,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. Xiaomi, later on, stopped selling the base variant and decreased the price of 3GB RAM/32GB model to Rs 9,999. Although, we're not sure if the Rs 10,999 price for the premium variant is a permanent one or a temporary one.

Xiaomi is silent since the start of 2018, but the company is promised a great February. We're expecting the company to launch a successor to the Redmi Note 4, the Redmi Note 5. But sadly, we don't have any information on Xiaomi India's plans for 2018.

However, the Redmi Note 4 is still a good buy at Rs 10,000. The phone offers a 5.5-inch Full HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset, up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front-facing camera, MIUI 9, and a beefy 4100mAh battery.
