Airtel TV, the entertainment OTT application by Bharti Airtel is now the fourth most downloaded application on the Google Play Store. The Airtel TV app has seen a huge rise in the last 30 days, especially after the announcement of free Amazon Prime Membership for Airtel Postpaid customers. Besides this, Airtel is offering free 1GB data for customers downloading and signing into the application for the Airtel prepaid customers. The 1GB free data is valid for three days from the date of availing.

Airtel TV application is currently in the fourth position on Google Play Store, and it’s the second most download application in Entertainment category on Apple App Store. It is worth noting that Airtel TV is now ahead of other entertainment apps such as JioPlay and Hotstar. To be precise, Reliance JioTV application is at ninth place in the free apps section on Google Play Store.
As stated, the Airtel TV application has seen a huge number of downloads from both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store recently, thanks to Airtel’s partnership with Amazon. At the moment, Airtel is providing free one-year subscription of Amazon Prime Video to the Airtel Postpaid customers on myPlan Infinity Postpaid plans of above Rs 499.
Usually, Amazon Prime Membership costs Rs 999 if customers purchase it through Amazon India website, but Airtel is offering it for free, making users choose Airtel postpaid network. As part of the Amazon Prime membership, customers will get both the standard Amazon Prime subscription for faster deliveries on Amazon India website and Amazon Prime Video subscription, which gives access to wide-range of content. Airtel postpaid customers can activate the free Prime membership through Airtel TV application itself, not via any other medium.
