Let's take a close look at Reliance Jio's new tariff plans:

1) 1GB Data Per Day Plans:
Earlier, Reliance Jio had tariff plans of Rs 199, Rs 399, Rs 459, and Rs 499. The prices of these plans are reduced by Rs 50, but the benefits are same though. Now, the Rs 149 tariff plan of Jio gives 1GB data per day for 28 days. This is the cheapest plan from any telecom operator in the industry right now, and of course, in the history of Indian telecom industry.

Next up, we have tariff plans such as Rs 349, Rs 399, and Rs 449. All these plans offer 1GB data per day, but the validity differs. The Rs 349 plan is valid for 70 days, the Rs 399 plan for 84 days, and lastly, the Rs 449 plan gives benefits for 91 days.

2) 1.5GB Data Per Day Plans
Reliance Jio introduced four new tariff plans of denominations Rs 198, Rs 398, Rs 448, and Rs 498. So, all these plans offer 1.5GB data per day. The Rs 198 plan is valid for 28 days; the Rs 398 plan offers benefits for 70 days; the Rs 448 plan for 84 days, and lastly, the Rs 498 plan is valid for 91 days from the date of recharge.

Clearly, Reliance Jio is miles ahead of incumbent telecom operators such as Airtel, Idea Cellular, and Vodafone India. All these tariff plans of Jio additionally offers unlimited voice calls without any FUP and premium access to Jio apps such as JioTV, JioCinema, etc. With the new plans, Jio brings down the cost of per GB to Rs 4 per day.

Lastly, these new plans will be effective to the JioPrime customers starting January 9, 2018. Once again, Reliance Jio says Happy New Year in style.
