If you remember, Reliance Jio recently announced a web version of its content platform, JioCinema. Finally, Reliance Jio responded to its customers requests. Reliance Jio customers can head over to https://jiotv.com/ on any browser. That said, all the content and live TV channels which are available in the JioTV application are made available on JioTV web version as well.

Also, the web interface is pretty much similar to the interface of the JioTV application for Android. The channels are displayed in a line-based interface, and the best part is you can toggle between SD and HD channels.

To watch the content on JioTV web version, you need to log in with your Jio account credential, same as the JioCinema web version. Sadly, only users with a Jio 4G SIM card can watch the content. You can log in with your Jio account by heading over to the account section present at the top right corner.

Some of the best features of the Reliance JioTV application are present in the web version as well. For example, you can watch content from the previous seven days, which is known as 'Catch-Up TV.'

Reliance JioTV is the leading live TV service amongst the Indian telecom operators. At the moment, JioTV has over 550 Live TV channels, which makes it the leading service when compared to other content providers services such as Airtel TV, Vodafone Play, and Idea Movies & TV.

The web version of JioTV has the content in same categories- Entertainment, Movies, Kids, Sports, Lifestyle, Infotainment, Religious, News, Music, Regional, Devotional, Business News, and in same languages too- Hindi, Marathi, Punjabi, Urdu, Bengali, English, Malayalam, Tamil, Gujarati, Odia, Telugu, Bhojpuri, Kannada, Assamese, Nepali, French.

With this move, Reliance Jio is allowing its customers to watch online content anywhere. Also, users can access the website in any mobile browser as well. This essentially removes the hassle of downloading the application to watch the content.
