Huami Amazfit Watch 2 and Watch 2S Specifications and Features

Huami has done an excellent job in designing both the smartwatches, and they look a lot different when compared to the first generation Amazfit Smartwatch. Specifications wise, they remain the same for the most part. They both feature a 1.34-inch screen with a resolution of 320 x 300 pixels.

The company has added a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM, and 4GB of internal storage in both the smartwatches. The display on both the smartwatches is powered by a 2.5D tempered glass on top, and the bezels are hand-polished ceramic ones.

They both are water resistant and can allow users to dive into 50 metres underwater. Furthermore, they come with 11 different types of sports modes such as swimming, walking, running, indoor riding, outdoor riding, cross-country running, mountaineering, elliptical machines, etc. The swimming mode is further divided into two modes- a standard swimming pool mode and an open water mode, which is also known as river mode.

Talking about other features, these both smartwatches from Huami are GPS-enabled and are claimed to offer up to 35 hours of battery life with continuous GPS tracking. And yes, they both feature a heart rate sensor for monitoring your heartbeat.

The best part is users can control all the Xiaomi smart devices right from the smartwatches itself. Another new addition to these smart watches is it support Alipay offline payment feature, meaning you can pay at any merchant store using the new Amazfit smartwatches. All the other basic stuff such as reading messages, controlling music, etc. can be done through these smartwatches itself.
