Nubia has added two new smartphones to its portfolio- the Nubia Z17S and Z17miniS. Both the smartphones are launched at an event in China and will be up for sale in the country in coming days. Nubia was rumoured to launch the Z17S earlier, but the Z17miniS came as a surprise.

Nubia Z17S
The Nubia Z17S is the company’s first four camera smartphone and also the first 17:9 aspect ratio display smartphone. Nubia has added a 5.73-inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 2040 pixels that further translates to a pixel density of 403 PPI. The display is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4 technology. Also, the Z17S has a chin which houses the home button along with a fingerprint scanner.
The smartphone is powered by the flagship chipset, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, mated with 6GB and 8GB of RAM. The phone offers internal storage up to 128GB. Aforesaid, the Nubia Z17S is the company’s first smartphone to feature four cameras.

The rear camera setup has a 12MP primary sensor and a 23MP secondary telephoto lens that captures 2X zoomed images. It also offers a Portrait mode, which has become a common affair in smartphones releasing these days. Frontal, there are two 5MP sensors.
The phone has all the connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, VoLTE, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB Type-C port. This entire package is backed by a 3100mAh battery, and the device runs Android Nougat.
