Video: Nubia N2 Hands-On: Betting Big On the Massive 5000mAh Battery and Gorgeous Design

ZTE’ subsidiary Nubia has been launching a slew of smartphones ever since the start of 2017. Last month, Nubia unveiled the massive 5000mAh battery powered Nubia N2 at a price of Rs. 15,999 in India. Going the price, the smartphones compete with the likes of Motorola Moto G5 Plus, Lenovo P2, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, and Huawei Honor 6X.

The Nubia N2 is a gorgeous looking smartphone out there in the market, possibly the best looking one close to the Rs. 15,000 price point. It has a metal unibody design, but it’s a bit bulky at 180 grams, thanks to the big battery. The Nubia N2 flaunts a 5.5-inch HD display, which is unacceptable in 2017, especially for the asking price of Rs. 15,999.

Under the hood, the Nubia N2 packs a MediaTek MT6750 SoC, paired with a generous 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The chipset is yet another let down for the smartphone, but thankfully, the Chinese company has added a decent amount of RAM to handle all the multitasking. The storage is expandable with a hybrid microSD card slot.

All the Nubia’ smartphones released till date bet big on the camera, and it continues with the Nubia N2 as well. The smartphone packs a 13MP rear camera, along with a beefy 16MP front-facing camera. Both the cameras are capable of recording 1080p videos.
