Today, folks at Forbes obtained the CAD files of Apple iPhone 8 from a case designer Nodus. And the design of the iPhone 8 is in-line with earlier leaked design renders. The report says that Apple has gone with the same design, even though the Cupertino giant is scared of the Touch ID placement.

Having said that, Apple is looking to eradicate the bezels in the iPhone 8, and they’re going to the glass body, which they left with the iPhone 4s. The iPhone 8 will feature a 5.8-inch display, featuring a cutout at the top of the phone for front-facing camera and sensors. That said, Apple might implement a whole new ‘Function Area’ in iOS 11.

Coming to the rear side of the phone, the iPhone 8 will feature a horizontal dual camera setup, as opposed to the vertically positioned setup seen on the Apple iPhone 7 Plus. The rear camera could also feature augmented reality functions.

Moreover, the report claims that Apple will stick with the Lightning port with the iPhone 8. Rumours say that the Cupertino giant is looking to replace Lightning port with the USB Type-C port, but that’s not going to happen. The 3.5mm headphone jack won’t be coming to iPhone 8 either, which the company killed with the iPhone 7 series.
