In Q2 2017, we’ve seen some decent smartphone launches such as the OnePlus 5, HTC U11, Xiaomi Mi 6, and so on. And we are about to enter the Q3 2017, where some exciting launches are awaiting including the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, Apple iPhone 8, LG V30, and Goole Pixel 2 lineup. That said, after the Samsung Galaxy S8 launch, the world is now waiting for Apple to unveil the iPhone 8.
In the recent past, we have seen a number of rumours about the iPhone 8 series, claiming that the device will feature all-glass body, on-screen fingerprint scanner, dual camera setup, etc. Last month, Onleaks, the popular tipster had leaked the renders of the iPhone 8, which allegedly confirmed the design of the phone.
However, no one believed the renders as true because the leaker himself was not sure about it. And now, the same leaker has posted real life images of the iPhone 8, and it features the same design of the renders he leaked last month.
The Apple iPhone 8 will have all glass body, with a metal frame rounding the edges. Unlike the Apple iPhone 7 Plus, the iPhone 8 will feature a vertical dual camera setup, which will still have a bump as the current generation iPhones. Also, the slider and the volume rockers are present on the left side of the phone. The power button of the phone is present at the right side of the phone.
The device on the images has a bezel-less display. It’s not a surprising thing that Apple is integrating a bezel-less design on the iPhone 8 because it has become a trend in the 2017 flagship phones, courtesy of Samsung Galaxy S8 and LG G6. The images did not reveal the top and bottom of the phone. It’s also interesting to see whether Apple will go with the lighting port or the USB Type-C port.
The surprising news, however, is the absence of fingerprint scanner. Apple is said to integrate the fingerprint scanner into the display, and these images will raise the anticipation further in the industry.
Having said that, there are chances that these pictures might belong to a prototype unit of the iPhone 8. Apple is expected to launch three iPhones this year in September. There will be more leaks in coming days. Till now, let us know what you think about these leaked images of the device.
