Reliance Jio is Offering 20 Percent Extra Data For Select LYF Handset Users With the Recharge of Rs. 309 and Rs. 509

Reliance Jio was silent for the last two months because of the Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan plans. The new entrant is now looking to launch new offers yet again with the Dhan Dhana Dhan offer set to end next month. And the first offer coming from the company after nearly two months is exclusively for the LYF handset users.

Earlier today, Jio has rolled out a new scheme where the LYF handset users will get 20 percent more data. However, the offer is for selected LYF handsets, and the list includes- LYF Earth 1, LYF Earth 2, LYF F1, LYF F1S, LYF Water 1, LYF Water 7S, LYF Water 8, LYF Water 10, LYF Water 11, LYF Wind 4S.

However, the extra data won't be credited to the user's account right away. Here's how it works. If a customer who owns an above-mentioned LYF handset recharges with either Rs. 309 or Rs. 509 plan, he will be rewarded with 20 percent more data in the form of a voucher. The Rs. 309 recharge entitles the user a voucher of 6GB data and the Rs. 509 recharge gives the user 12GB data voucher.

The data voucher will be credited to the customer's MyJio account within 48 hours of recharge. Customers can check for the voucher under the MyVouchers section launched recently. That said, customers can recharge the additional data voucher at any time and the validity of the voucher is not mentioned by the company.

Also, a customer can avail the offer up to a maximum of six times during the offer period. Jio states that the offer start date is June 9, 2017, and it ends on March 31, 2018. That said, this offer raises several questions now. The Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan offer is set to expire in July and the company has to come with a new plan, but the new campaign end date is mentioned as March 31, 2018. Will Jio continue the offer beyond July 2017? The company will answer the question in the coming days.

Here are the detailed steps to activate the additional data voucher credited to your account post the successful recharge: MyJio App>myvouchers>view voucher>recharge>recharge my number > confirm recharge > successful recharge notification. After the recharge, the plan will be displayed in MyPlan section.
