Aircel, after rolling out a slew of new offers for its customers in Assam a few days ago has announced another new plan today. The Tamil Nadu-based company rolled out a new offer of Rs. 786 in its home circle on the occasion of Ramzan. The new plan offers both calling and data benefits and comes with long-validity as well.
Aircel touts the Rs. 786 plan as a revolutionary product that is aimed at students and working professionals, who have an extensive voice and data usage. With the recharge of Rs.786, Aircel customers will get free voice calls (Local and STD) to any network in the country along with 1GB of 3G data every day for 70 days; effectively it becomes 70 GB data.
Sankara Narayanan K, Head – SBU 1, Aircel, said, “ We at Aircel recognise the multi-faceted needs of our customers and cater to their requirements by creating holistic packs that serve both voice and data demand. Ramzan has always been celebrated at Aircel by offering industry best packs that are hard to surpass in the market. With RC 786, we have created a sure shot product to delight our customers and celebrate this festive season with them. This pack is specially designed considering the customers’ need for accessing high volumes of data to seamlessly connect with their family members through video chatting, social networking or streaming videos as well as making voice calls without worrying about their balance.”
However, this new plan from Aircel is way higher than the other telecom operators plans. For example, Idea Cellular is offering the same benefits for Rs. 497 and state-run telecom operator BSNL is offering the same, in fact, better one for Rs. 395. Furthermore, the Aircel plan doesn't come with any SMS benefits and customer has to additionally recharge with another plan to enjoy local and STD SMS.
