If you recall, the Yu Yureka was the smartphone with which the company made its debut back in 2014. The principal aim of Yu Televentures is to compete with Chinese brands such as Xiaomi, Lenovo, Coolpad, etc. However, the company was not able to cope up with the competition set by Chinese brands and eventually lost the momentum.

But the company is now looking to make a comeback, and the first step towards it is- Yu Yureka Black. The Yureka Black is a completely revamped version of the Yureka and has entry-level specifications. The device flaunts a 5-inch Full HD display with a 2.5D curved glass and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 technology.

Under-the-hood, the phone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC with a 1.4GHz octa-core CPU, paired with massive 4GB of RAM and Adreno 505 GPU. The Yureka Black is the cheapest smartphone to offer 4GB of RAM at Rs. 8,999. The device has 32GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 128GB using microSD card.
