Chinese smartphone vendor, iVoomi, after announcing the iVoomi iV505 smartphone in India has now announced two new smartphones in India under the new ‘Me’ series. The Chinese firm has outed Me 1+ and Me 1 in India with entry-level specifications. These smartphones are priced at Rs. 3,999 and Rs. 4,999 respectively.

The highlight of both the phones is the support for VoLTE. They boast decent specifications for the asking price. Both the iVoomi Me 1 and Me 1+ come with a 5-inch HD display and have a 2.5D curved glass on top.

Under-the-hood, both the phones are powered by a quad-core chipset with a 1.2GHz CPU. While the iVoomi Me 1 has only 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, the Me 1+ comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Both the phones have support for microSD card for storage expansion up to 128GB.

The iVoomi Me 1 has a 5MP snapper at the rear along with a LED flash. There’s also a 5MP sensor on the front as well for selfies and video calls. The Me 1+ rocks an 8MP rear facing the camera with support for LED flash along with a 5MP front-facing camera.

Another highlight in both the phones is that they run Android Marshmallow. The company is even promising Android Nougat update in coming days. Generally, smartphones in the similar price range come with an outdated version of Android with no scope for software updates, but that doesn't seem to be the case with iVoomi phones, thankfully.

The iVoomi Me 1 and Me 1+ have connectivity options such as 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and micro USB port. They also pack a 3,000mAh battery with an unspecified fast charging technology on board.

The phones will be sold exclusively via Shopclues from tonight. iVoomi has entered a partnership with Shopclues to sell their phones in India since the previously launched iVoomi iV505 was also sold via Shopclues. The Chinese vendor is expecting a market share of three to four percent by the end of 2018.
