Oppo, after launching the F3 Plus in India last month is now looking to launch its downgraded version, the Oppo F3 in India. Akin to the Oppo F3 Plus, the upcoming F3 will also feature dual front-facing cameras. The Chinese company has already started sending media invites touting the dual camera feature.

Aside from that, there are not many details regarding the phone. However, it won’t be as powerful as the F3 Plus, which uses a Snapdragon 653 chip, 4GB of RAM. Oppo might go with a MediaTek chip to power the Oppo F3, but these are just speculations. That said, Oppo may still use 4GB of RAM on the phone.
The F3 Plus came with a 16MP rear camera with PDAF, Autofocus, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). The F3’s rear camera should also come with the same configuration. Furthermore, Oppo might strip down the display size of the phone and might either go with a 5.5-inch Full HD display with the same Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
Oppo has partnered with Tollywood movie makers of Baahubali to promote the phone as the film will be released next week. The Oppo F3 will also come with a smaller battery.
Speaking about the F3 Plus, it boasts a 6-inch Full HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top. Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 SoC powers the phone, clubbed with 4GB of RAM and Adreno 510 GPU. It is backed by a 4000mAh battery with VOOC fast charging technology.
