From the last few days, the internet is abuzz with the Motorola’s upcoming phones namely the Moto Z2, Moto C series, and the Moto E4, E4 Plus. While the Moto C series is confirmed to be the Motorola’s cheapest phone lineup, the Moto E4 and E4 Plus will be the upgrades to last year’s Moto E3 and E3 Power.
Earlier this month, rumoured specs of the Moto E4 and E4 Plus were spotted online. The Moto E4 will sport a quad-core MediaTek chip, but the chipset to be used in the E4 Plus is still unknown. The most interesting rumour was the presence of 4GB RAM in both the phones. The Moto E4 will get a 2800mAh battery, whereas the Moto E4 Plus is speculated to come with a beefy 5000mAh battery.
Today, a high-resolution image of the upcoming Moto E4 and E4 Plus have been posted online by @Onleaks. The phones look identical to each other, sans the fingerprint sensor on the Moto E4 Plus. As seen on the previous renders, the phones boast a similar design language to the Moto G5 series, but it is still unknown whether they house the metal body or not.
Apart from the fingerprint scanner, the bezels on the E4 Plus are slightly thinner. Same as the Moto G5 and G5 Plus, the Moto E4 and E4 Plus will be differentiated by the screen size.
The Moto E4 is expected to sport a 5-inch WFVGA display with a 480 x 854 resolution, there are no details on the E4 Plus screen size, though. We’re expecting it to sport a 5.2-inch HD panel. The Moto E4 Plus, as seen on the above image will come with a front-facing screen flash, and the Moto E4 misses out on that. The cameras on the both the phones are said to be 5MP and 2MP and will boot Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box.
The release date of the phones is still under the wraps, but it is widely expected that the Lenovo-owned Motorola will launch them in the near future or might be at the start of next month.
