Lava has unveiled yet another affordable smartphone, the P7. The device comes with a 5-inch FWVGA display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek chipset clubbed with 1GB of RAM, and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop, which will be upgradable to Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
It sports a 5-megapixel primary camera with LED flash, along with a 2-megapixel front-facing camera with an LED flash for better selfies in low-light conditions.
The Lava P7 will be available in White, Blue and Gold colour options, and is priced at Rs. 5,499. It will be up for purchase via online and physical stores across India. It comes with Google India keyboard, which has 12 Indian languages with custom gestures and smart wake-up. There is 8GB internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. The device supports connectivity options such as dual-SIM, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. It is backed by a 2,000mAh battery.
