HTC One A9 with Android 6.0 Marshmallow and Desire 828 dual-SIM announced in India

HTC has unveiled the much talked about smartphone, the One A9, along with the Desire 828 dual-SIM in India. Pricing and availability detail for both the devices is still under wraps, however, HTC has stated that they will go on sale in few weeks from now.

HTC One A9 - 06The HTC One A9 was unveiled a month ago in China, and it is the first smartphone in the One A series. It features a 5-inch Full HD AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 octa-core chipset (4 x 1.5GHz + 4 x 1.2GHz) paired with 3GB of RAM. There is 32GB of internal storage onboard, which can be expanded up to 2TB via microSD card. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with HTC Sense UI on top.




The device sports a 13-megapixel primary camera with LED Flash, BSI sensor, OIS, PDAF, alongside an Ultrapixel selfie camera. In the connectivity department, the phone supports 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Fingerprint sensor, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and NFC. Backing the HTC One A9 is a 2,150mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0. It will be available in Carbon Gray, Opal Silver, Topaz Gold and Deep Garnet color options.

On the other hand, the Desire 828 dual-SIM comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display at a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by a 64-bit 1.5 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 64-bit processor paired with a 2GB of RAM. It features 16GB internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 2TB via microSD card. The device runs Android 5.1 Lollipop, and sports a 13-megapixel primary camera with LED Flash, BSI sensor, OIS, along with an Ultrapixel selfie camera. In the connectivity department, the smartphone supports 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and NFC. It is backed by a 2,800mAh battery.
