Lenovo Vibe P1 and P1m with massive batteries launched in India for Rs. 15,999 and Rs. 7,999 respectively

At the IFA 2015, Lenovo had unveiled two smartphones in its Vibe series — the Lenovo Vibe P1 and Vibe P1m. Today, the company launched these devices for the Indian market. The main feature of Vibe P1 and Vibe P1m is their humongous batteries ranging from 4,000 mAh for Vibe P1m and 5,000 mAh for Vibe P1.

The Lenovo Vibe P1 has been priced at Rs. 15,999, and will be available exclusively via Flipkart from October 27 onwards. On the other hand, the Vibe P1m will be retailing at Rs. 7,999 through Flipkart from October 28 onwards.

Lenovo Vibe P1To recap, the Lenovo Vibe P1 features a 5.5-inch FHD IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. It is powered by a 64-bit 1.5GHz octa-core Snapdragon615 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage, expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. The phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop, supports fingerprint sensor, and connectivity options such as dual-SIM (nano SIM), 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. There is a 13-megapixel of primary camera on-board with dual-color flash, along with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

The Vibe P1 is backed by a massive 5,000 mAh of battery, which is touted by the company to provide up to 81 hours of talk-time. Lenovo also boasts that the phone is equipped with Rocket Charge functionality that can charge up the phone for 2.8 hours of talk-time with just 5-minutes of charging. The phone has been embodied in Aluminum frame with front and rear of the device equipped with Gorilla Glass protection. The device will be available in Platinum and Graphite Grey color options.
