IFA 2015: Lenovo unveils the Vibe P1, Vibe P1m, and Vibe S1 smartphones

At the IFA 2015, Lenovo has unveiled three smartphones in its Vibe series — the Lenovo Vibe P1, Vibe P1m, and Vibe S1. The main feature of Vibe P1 and Vibe P1m is their humongous batteries ranging from 4,000 mAh for Vibe P1m and 5,000 mAh for Vibe P1, while the USP of the Vibe S1 is its one of a kind dual front-facing camera. Lenovo Vibe P1

The Lenovo Vibe P1 features a 5.5-inch FHD IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. It is powered by a 64-bit 1.5GHz octa-core Snapdragon615 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage, expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. The phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and supports connectivity options such as dual-SIM (nano SIM), 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. There is a 13-megapixel of primary camera on-board with dual-color flash, along with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.




Lenovo Vibe P1The Vibe P1 is backed by a massive 5,000 mAh of battery, which is touted by the company to provide up to 81 hours of talk-time. Lenovo also boasts that the phone is equipped with Rocket Charge functionality that can charge up the phone for 2.8 hours of talk-time with just 5-minutes of charging. The phone has been embodied in Aluminum frame with front and rear of the device equipped with Gorilla Glass protection. The device will be available in Platinum and Graphite Grey color options, at a price of $279 (approx. Rs. 18,464).

Lenovo Vibe P1m

The Lenovo Vibe P1m comes with a 5-inch HD IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels, and is powered by a 64-bit 1.5GHz octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor paired with 2GB of RAM. It has 16GB of internal storage, expandable up to 32GB via microSD card, and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop. There is a 13-megapixel of primary camera on-board with dual-color flash, along with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The device supports connectivity options such as dual-SIM (micro SIM), 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, USB OTG, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS.

Lenovo Vibe P1mBacking the Vibe P1m is a massive 4,000 mAh of battery, which is equipped with Quick Charge technology. The company also touts that the device can be fully charged up in just 2 hours 40mins and can also last up to 2.45 hours talk-time in just 15 minutes of charge. The phone has also been pre-loaded with Lenovo Doit apps such as SHAREit, CLONEit and SYNCit. Just like the P1, this one has also been crafted in Aluminum frame with Gorilla Glass protection on the front and rear. The Lenovo Vibe P1m will be available in Onyx Black and Pearl White color options, for a price of $159 (approx. Rs. 10,522).

Lenovo Vibe S1

The Lenovo Vibe S1 features a 5-inch FHD IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels, and is powered by a 64-bit 1.7GHz MediaTek MT6752 octa-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. It has 32GB of internal storage, expandable up to 128GB via microSD card, and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop. There is a 13-megapixel of primary camera on-board with dual-color flash, along with dual-front facing cameras, the two lenses on the front are of 8-megapixel and 2-megapixel. The 8-megapixel lens captures the image’s detail and sharpness, while the 2-megapixel lens collects information about depth as per human perception, in order to come up with flawless front clicks.

Lenovo Vibe S1

The device supports connectivity options such as dual-SIM (nano SIM), 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. It is backed by a 2,500 mAh of battery, and just like the other two devices, this one too comes embodied in an Aluminum frame with Gorilla Glass protection on both the sides. The device will be available in Pearl White and Midnight Blue color options, for a price of $299 (approx. Rs. 19,787).
