Following their usual way, OnePlus is revealing the details about its upcoming smartphone bit-by-bit. After revealing details about OnePlus 2's processor, fingerprint sensor, microUSB Type-C port, and its camera, the company revealed some important information regarding its connectivity feature.
The company's CEO, Liu Zuohu, published an image on the social networking website weibo.com, revealing that the OnePlus 2 will have a dual-SIM variant. It is worth noting that three variants of the OnePlus 2 were leaked through benchmarks, and we believe that at least one of them will be a dual-SIM variant, while the other(s) will be a single-SIM variant for markets like the US, the UK, and the other European countries.
OnePlus 2 will be officially announced and unveiled on July 28, and is expected to feature a 5.5-inch 1080p display, an improved 13-megapixel camera with laser autofocus and 4K video recording, an octa-core 64-bit Snapdragon 810 processor, 4GB RAM, and a 3,300 mAh battery.
The company has also mentioned that they have arranged for 50x more smartphone units than they had of the OnePlus One when it went on sale through invite system. The OnePlus 2 will still be sold through an invite system, but due to availability of more units, getting hold of one should not be as big a problem as it was last year.
