Samsung began rolling out the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop for the Galaxy S6 twins last month in US and the update has now reached Indian shores. The Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge come in India with model numbers G920I and G925I and the duo is now getting the update. The update brings with it a wide array of bug fixes and system-wide performance improvements.
The update allows you to now sort the applications alphabetically. You now get the option to control the exposure for the camera and the support for RAW image capture makes it way to the devices as well. The feature isn’t available on the stock camera app from Samsung so you’ll have to go in for a third party app which supports it till the time Samsung pushes forth an update from its side.
You can now remove the Quick connect and S-Finder shortcut buttons from the notification bar. The update may not reach all the users at the same time but they can be assured that the same is coming soon for them via the OTA route.
