iBall, the homegrown smartphone manufacturer, is busy launching a slew of budget smartphones these days. It has recently shifted its focus to devices equipped with good camera sensors without pricing them on the higher side. It has quietly launched iBall Andi Avonte 5, an Android smartphone with a swivel camera, in India for Rs. 5,999. The smartphone has been already launched in brick-and-mortar stores for the time being, but it is yet to be listed on the company's website.
The swivelling camera can be rotated up to 180 degrees, and has a resolution of 8 megapixels. It further gets coupled with dual-LED flash. Barring this stand-out feature, it gets what you usually expect in a sub-Rs. 6,000 smartphone. It features a 5-inch FWVGA display, Android 4.4 KitKat, 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB storage, microSD card slot, and a 2,150 mAh battery. The company is bundling a screen protector for free, and support for 15 Indian languages. You can expect it to be launched officially in the next few days.
