HTC India Lollipop updateFor all those users who are literally bored of using the Android 4.4 KitKat, the wait is finally over, go ahead and check out if the update has reached your device. If you have not got the notification yet then we suggest that you check for the update manually. Firstly, go to the “settings”, then tap on the “about” option, then select “software update” and then tap on “check now”. After that a message will prompt on your screen stating if it has got the update or not.

This new OS version brings along smooth card-style interface, few tweaks to quick settings, changes the color of notifications panel, and enhances multi-tasking on the device.

To inform our readers beforehand, make sure your device has ample storage as the update is somewhat large in size. In most of the cases, it has amounted to around 1GB in size. Taking hint from the Desire 816 Lollipop update, which was 862.8 MB in size, however, the size will somewhat be different depending on the device. It would be better if you install the update on a stable Wi-fi connection or high-speed 3G.

The updates are generally rolled out in phases, so if it has not reached your device yet then try again after sometime.
