Android One SmartphonesMost likely, the Android One smartphones in India will receive the similar Android 5.1 Lollipop update that was spotted running on Android One smartphones in Indonesia earlier today. Perhaps moving directly to Android 5.1 is the reason behind the long delay. Google might achieve its original promise to bring Android 5.1 Lollipop to the affordable One series soon.

As we reported earlier, Android One devices are also going to be launched in to launch in Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka soon. It will be interesting to see if the devices launched in the above mentioned countries come with Android 5.1 pre-installed, or if the users will have to wait for an upgrade to the Lollipop.
