Every country has its certification authorities for devices. Taiwan's NCC is equal to the FCC of USA and a new device has just showed up for certification from the Taiwanese authorities. The device we are talking about is the HTC Desire 620 and it has shown up in the documents of the NCC. Two versions of the device have shown up out of which one is a 3G HSPA enabled unit (Desire 620u) and the other one is 4G LTE enabled unit (Desire 620h).

Both the phones will be dual SIM units. Unfortunately, this is the only piece of information that we have regarding the Desire 620 for the time being. The smartphone can be expected to be successor of the Desire 610 or 616 but we believe it will be of the Desire 610. The Desire lineup usually sees a selective roll-out so the same might be the case in this one as well.

The Desire 610 came with a quad-core 1.2-GHz Snapdragon 400 processor so this one might get the successor of it, the 64-bit Snapdragon 410. The screen size may be bumped from 4.7-inches to 5-inches. The Desire 620 will be positioned as a rival to the likes of recently launched Galaxy A5 and the second generation Moto G.
