Xolo will come out with a new ‘Hive UI' for its Android based devices. On its Facebook page Xolo has also revealed, possibly accidentally, that its upcoming dual-SIM Play 8X-1000 smartphone will be launched in early August. The post was taken off shortly but the users can always surf through the glimpse of the Hive UI on the Xolo website.

Xolo Hive UI

Xolo Play 8X-1000 smartphone is all set to make its debut with the Hive UI. No further details were unleashed about the smartphone. However, Xolo recently launched the Play 6X-1000 smartphone with a hexa-core MediaTek MT6591 mobile chipset. It is quite apparent that Play 8X-1000 might come power-packed with an octa-core processor from MediaTek.

The Hive UI has been developed on Android 4.4 KitKat update and somewhat complies to the design language of upcoming Android L update. For example, the top bars of the app make a transparent navigation bar get the same colour. Simple control switch between Dual-SIM modes, themes and many more increments. The lock screen also boasts an interesting update to pile up the notifications.

Concurrently, Xolo has also promised to make the Hive UI available to selected existing devices and almost all upcoming devices.
